Our pupils have been busy with a variety of sports clubs, matches and personal records during the term. Here are some of the reviews.

Well done to the Year 8 and Year 9 Rugby teams. Both teams have been very well lead . Year 8 Tom B as captain and Luke B and Bradley T the top try scorers. Year 9 beat many of the local schools in games and finished 4th in the 10-a-side tournament. A special mention to Luca B, who is currently in the Sussex squad and having trials for Wales.

Charlie G in Year 7 has Just been signed by Brighton and Hove Albion for a further 2 year contract and with them entering into the premiership! An excellent opportunity for him.

8 of Cavendish’s finest gymnasts and trampolinists took part in the area Gymnastics and Trampolining competition, held at Hailsham, on Thursday 9 March. It was a first time competition for all the pupils and the results were fantastic. Elizabeth C took first place for Advanced Individual Floor with a very unique and exciting routine. Meanwhile, over on the trampoline, Amber took first place for her advanced routine and Becky took first place for her novice routine. Overall, the girls placed 3rd in both the Individual Floor and Trampolining. Well done for such fantastic results! .

Brilliant results for Daisy B who won the Year 7 Girls Sussex Schools Cross Country. Congratulations on your success at Loughborough.

Well done to the U13 mixed cricketers on their participation in the area indoor cricket tournament. It was a tough competition with most of the opposition choosing to side male competitors, but Cavendish pupils represented the school with dignity and respect.
