CLERK TO GOVERNORS

Single Status Grade 8 Points 20-22 £22,566 – £24,805 per annum pro rata

for 200 hours per year (approx. 4 hours per week)

Hours will be negotiated flexibly in advance and will include attendance at
evening meetings

 

Are you a highly organised and skilled administrator who would relish the opportunity to work with the Governing Body of an Academy School? The Governors are looking to appoint a self-motivated and proactive person at an exciting time in the development of the school. This will be an important and rewarding role for the right candidate.  

 

Responsibilities will include working effectively with the Chair of Governors, the Governing Body and the School Leadership Team to advise on procedural and legislative matters, prepare and circulate papers, minute meetings and maintain accurate records and systems. An understanding of confidentiality is essential for this role.

 

Applicants must have

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minute taking experience
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Be able to organise and prioritise work
  • Research skills and the ability to interpret and advise on statutory guidance documents
  • Be able to work independently and have good IT skills

Teaching Assistant (Level 3) - Primary

Single Status Grade 4 – Salary Range £18,426 – £18,795 pro-rata.

Actual pay: £7,709 – £7,864

Permanent: 17.5 hours per week, Term Time Only
Monday – Friday 9.30am – 1.00pm

Starting date: Monday 6 January 2020

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in our primary phase, who believes in creating strong, positive relationships with the children, developing them personally, socially, emotionally and academically and have the ability and determination to ensure excellent progress and to raise standards. You will establish and maintain the highest standards, are flexible and have the potential to get the best out of our pupils. You will need excellent organisation and communication skills and can forge positive relationships with children.  You will be responsible for pupils learning and wellbeing, sharing good practice in the classroom setting and at play/lunchtimes, one to one SEN pupil support, mentoring and supporting newly appointed staff.

 

You will join a team of dedicated and caring staff in establishing outstanding provision, learning and progress for all our pupils.
