The Cavendish School, Eastbourne, is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Teaching Assistant to join in the continued development and success of our Primary Phase as part of our exciting all through status. The Primary Phase opened its new building in September 2016.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to who believe in creating strong, positive relationships with the pupils, developing them personally, socially, emotionally and academically and have the ability and determination to ensure excellent progress and to raise standards.

You will work with and supervise individuals and groups of pupils with pastoral, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and communicate with parents and outside agencies to ensure the health and well-being of pupils are looked after in the school environment. You will need excellent organisation and communication skills and can forge positive relationships with pupils.

You will join a team of dedicated and caring staff in establishing outstanding provision, learning and progress for all our pupils.

Hours: Mon, Tues, Thurs 11am-1.30pm, Weds & Fri 9am-1.30pm

Single Status Grade 3 – Salary Range £16,755 – £17,007 pro-rata. Actual Salary £6,009 – £6,099

Term Time Only plus INSET days – Starting date: September 2018

The Cavendish School, Eastbourne, is seeking to appoint highly motivated and committed pre-school assistant to support our Pre-School for 2 to 4 year olds within the continued development and success of our Early Years and Primary Phase.

The Pre-School opened in a brand new building in September 2016 and we welcome applications from individuals who are looking for a new and exciting challenge to support our children.

The successful candidates will work effectively as part of the Pre-School team, to provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment.

The Cavendish School, Eastbourne, is looking to appoint an Individual Needs Assistant who wants the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of pupils.

The post has been created to assist with the quality learning development of a Reception pupil. The hours for this post are 12.30am – 2.30pm.

Experience of working with Special Educational Needs pupils would be an advantage, as would working in a Primary School setting.

You will join a team of dedicated and caring staff in establishing outstanding provision, learning and progress for all our pupils.
