TEACHING ASSISTANT (LEVEL 3) – SECONDARY
Single Status 4 – Salary Range £18,933-£19,312 pro-rata
27.5 hours per week
Term Time Only (incl INSET days)
Fixed term until 31/08/21
The Cavendish School, Eastbourne, is looking for a highly motivated and committed Teaching Assistant who is passionate and enthusiastic to join in the continued development and success of our Secondary Phase as part of our exciting all through status. You will predominately be working in the Secondary phase (years 7-11), although you may be required to also work in our Primary phase.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in our Secondary phase, who believes in creating strong, positive relationships with the children, developing them personally, socially, emotionally and academically and have the ability and determination to ensure excellent progress and to raise standards. You will assist in promoting the learning and personal development of all pupils, including but not exclusively, those with special educational needs. You will establish and maintain the highest standards, be flexible and have the potential to get the best out of our pupils. You will need excellent organisation and communication skills. Have a good level of literacy and numeracy skills and you should be able to forge positive relationships with children.
