TEACHER OF ENGLISH

Full-Time – Current Salary Range £24,373 – £40,490 within the Main Pay Range–Upper Pay range

This role would be suitable for newly qualified teachers or experienced teachers.

The job role consists of:

  • Having responsibility for teaching in assigned curriculum areas
  • Taking responsibility and be accountable for pupil attainment and achievement, by tracking pupils progress and supporting individual pupils’ learning needs
  • Being consistent in the delivery of all school’s policies and practice
  • Supporting the Progress Leader to secure a high quality learning experience in tutor time
  • Setting high expectations for all pupils through aspirational target setting

ADMIN TEAM LEADER

35 HOURS PER WEEK (Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 3pm)

Term Time (incl Inset days) plus 1 week in summer holidays

Single Status Grade 6 Points 14-16 (£19,946 – £20,751) pro-rata

Actual Salary £16,618 – £17,289

Permanent – Start date:  as soon as possible

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well organised individual to join us in our all through school.

The successful candidate will be flexible and adaptable and able to develop good team working.

 

Main duties include;

  • overseeing supply teachers and supporting/organising the cover timetable for the school
  • recording both teaching and support staff absence
  • publishing daily cover and diary notices
  • having excellent administrative skills and the ability to manage a team,
  • Possessing excellent communication and organisational skills

Teaching Assistant (Level 3) - Primary

Single Status Grade 4 – Salary Range £18,426 – £18,795 pro-rata.

Actual pay: £13,216 – £13,481

Permanent: 30 hours per week (8.30am to 3pm, Monday to Friday),

Term Time Only (incl INSET days)

Starting date: as soon as possible

 

The Cavendish School, Eastbourne, is looking for a highly motivated and committed Teaching Assistant who is passionate and enthusiastic to join in the continued development and success of our Primary Phase as part of our exciting all through status.  If you have the skills, drive and enthusiasm this could be the perfect role for you. 

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in our primary phase, who believes in creating strong, positive relationships with the children, developing them personally, socially, emotionally and academically and have the ability and determination to ensure excellent progress and to raise standards. You will establish and maintain the highest standards, are flexible and have the potential to get the best out of our pupils. You will need excellent organisation and communication skills and can forge positive relationships with children.  You will be responsible for pupils learning and wellbeing, sharing good practice in the classroom setting and at play/lunchtimes, one to one SEN pupil support, mentoring and supporting newly appointed staff.

 

You will join a team of dedicated and caring staff in establishing outstanding provision, learning and progress for all our pupils.
