Cavendish offers an open curriculum to all students regardless of gender or ability. All students receive a broad and balanced programme which provides a firm foundation for further study at 16+. The subjects and cross-curricular themes of the National Curriculum are delivered with the addition of Dance and Drama.

All years follow a Lifeskills programme designed for each year group. It contains a wide range of topics and skills including working with others, career choices, study skills, problem solving, drug education, economic awareness, personal relationships and sex education.
