Change to school uniform September 2015
As we near the end of the school year, I wanted to let you know about two changes to the school uniform that we are implementing for September.
From September, students will be expected to wear plain black leather school shoes only (no trainers, canvas shoes or boots). In terms 5 and 6 2016, students will continue to wear shirt and tie; the polo shirts are going to be discontinued so that we have a consistent approach to uniform for all.
As always, if there any financial concerns about this change in policy, please do contact your child’s Progress Leader and we will endeavour to help. We hope that these changes will bring greater clarity to our uniform policy.Over the summer term we have seen a return of skirts that do not meet uniform expectations.
As a reminder, our policy states clearly the type of skirt to be worn:
Skirt: Knee length black, in a plain, straight design that sits on the knee. Fashion skirts are not permitted and skirts must not be figure hugging.
Please ensure that your daughter’s uniform meets this expectation. If you have any questions regarding uniform, please contact your child’s Form Tutor or Progress Leader. Changes To Uniform – examples
